This Privacy Policy explains how KODU, operated by PT Kodu Inovasi Teknologi, collects, uses, and protects your data when you use our services — including the KODU web Dashboard and the KODU point-of-sale (POS) app.

1. Data We Collect

  • Account data: your name, email, phone number, and business information. You may also sign in using your Google account ("Sign in with Google") — in this case we only receive your name and email from Google, never your Google account password.
  • Operational data: product data, sales transactions, inventory, staff, and outlets you manage through KODU.
  • Subscription payment data: processed through a payment provider (Midtrans). We do not store your card details.
  • Technical data: basic usage logs to maintain service security and quality.
  • POS app data: a unique device identifier used to pair the app with your outlet, and staff PIN codes stored in encrypted (hashed) form for daily cashier login.

2. How We Use Your Data

  • To provide and operate the KODU service.
  • To process your subscription payments.
  • To send important notifications related to your account & subscription (e.g., payment reminders).
  • To improve the security, reliability, and features of our service.

3. Data Sharing with Third Parties

We share data as necessary with the following service providers that support our operations:

  • Midtrans — to process your subscription payments.
  • Google — to power the "Sign in with Google" feature, subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Resend — to send transactional emails (verification codes, billing notifications, and other account notices).
  • Sentry — to monitor errors/technical issues and keep the service reliable.
  • ImageKit — to store and optimize the product photos you upload.
  • Neon and Vercel — our database and hosting providers that run the service.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data, including encryption of sensitive data and access restrictions. However, no system is entirely risk-free.

5. Your Rights

You can request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at support@kodu.id.

We use cookies/local storage as necessary to maintain your login session and preferences.
